Introducing the Interise Alumni Advisory Council: Powering Connections, Fueling Inclusive Growth
This Small Business Month, we’re thrilled to introduce the new Interise Alumni Advisory Council (AAC) — a dynamic group of leaders dedicated to shaping the future of alumni engagement and advancing inclusive economic growth.
The AAC is a refreshed version of our former Network Champions initiative. With eight alumni and six advocates from across the country, this 14-member council reflects the diversity, grit, and insight of our national small business network.
Mission:
Fourteen ambassadors advancing Interise's mission by strengthening alumni programs that promote business growth, job creation, and procurement opportunities.
Vision:
Cultivate a dynamic network of business leaders driving sustainable growth, expanding opportunities, and creating a more inclusive economy.
These leaders will:
-
Advise on strategic initiatives aligned with alumni growth goals
-
Support recruitment for StreetWise MBA cohorts in their communities
-
Advocate for better access to small business capital
2025 Goals:
-
Foster peer collaboration after graduation
-
Guide alumni training on emerging economic challenges
-
Recommend stronger programming improvements
Quarterly virtual meetings, diverse member representation, and a two-year service term ensure this council remains active, agile, and engaged.
From business owners scaling nationally to instructors guiding the next generation, each AAC member brings a unique perspective. We can’t wait for you to meet them.
Over the next month, we’ll introduce you to these 14 inspiring leaders — people who embody the Interise spirit and are helping shape what’s next for our alumni community.
